Global Coverage

AppLabs is headquartered in Philadelphia, USA and has development and testing facilities in Lindon, (UT), Boise (ID), Hatfield (UK), Preston (UK) and Hyderabad, India. In Hyderabad, the AppLabs Global Engineering Center (GEC) is a resource-rich blend of technology and office infrastructure.

Hyderabad Facilities

AppLabs' GEC in Hyderabad has a capacity of over 1300 testing station seats. The internal network is built with HP ProCurve gigabit switches and is connected to the internet via a SonicWALL 5000 series firewall with unlimited user licenses, 2000 global VPN clients and 4000 site to site tunnels.

Telecoms are provided by the availability of 24x7 VoIP facilities across the globe and communication within the country is through an EPABX system with 30 lines.

USA Facilities

In the United States, our 12,000 sq ft Lindon facility houses a world-class Performance Testing laboratory equipped with multiplatform servers and over 1000 workstations. It also hosts our wireless and mobile testing facilities that include three large Faraday cages for Wireless Network Testing, network tracking and attenuation hardware and mobile software testing.

As part of our certification services, the Lindon testing team works with Storage Systems from all leading Storage Vendors including HDS, EMC, and 3PAR and HBAs and Fibre Switches from all leading vendors.

The Boise facility works in tandem with our Lindon office and is primarily focused on device driver software testing.

Europe Facilities

As well as being the AppLabs European headquarters, our Preston office provides facilities for up to 30 Test Consultants and is equipped with state-of-the-art testing stations, servers and test tools.

In collaboration with Computacenter, one of AppLabs partners, we have access to the largest multi-vendor testing environment in Europe, focused on enterprise-class technologies. The Hatfield, UK facility provides our clients with a real opportunity to reduce business risk and guarantee infrastructure performance levels in line with business growth.

Bandwidth Capabilities

AppLabs has the following bandwidth capabilities:

  • 10 MBPS Bandwidth to each of 7 load test generators distributed across the USA

  • USA bandwidth scalable to 550 MBPS on-demand and over 2Gbps if required

  • European load test generators with 100 MBPS connectivity

  • 4 MBPS Bandwidth in India

  • 24/7 Download Center to handle several GBs of download / upload

  • Three ISPs for connectivity risk mitigation in India

  • Multiple ISPs for connectivity risk mitigation in USA/Europe.
