Test Manager

Job Type – Full Time

Base Location – Denver

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with development vendors and customer management with regard to testing activities
  • Identify, document and obtain approval for Test Plan for all testing activities on project
  • Ensure project plan is accurate with testing activities
  • Coordinate the daily activities with offshore testing team
  • Ensure testing team develop test scripts with traceability back to the documentation and requirements
  • Metrics management
  • Work with Application Delivery team, other resources, development vendors and other third parties as appropriate to obtain approval for test scripts prior to the start date for test execution
  • Ensure offshore testing team has test environments for test execution activities
  • Ensure offshore test team executes test scripts in timely manner and provide daily execution status
  • Ensure offshore test team maintains timelines determined for testing activities
  • Provide support for identification and management of Risks and Issues
  • Document and obtain approval for Test Completion Report, which will include lessons to be taken from this project
  • Support other testing projects as requested

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Mainframes Transaction Processing Facility/ Airline Control Program Should have had experience in defining the Test Strategy / approach and guiding the team Advocate QA work and coordinate with offshore and onsite teams
  • Experienced in working with staging and production environments managing large teams

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Mainframes Transaction Processing Facility
  • Experienced in Oracle
  • Experience in Airlines domain would be huge plus
  • Experienced with TSO ISPF,JCL,DB2,SPUFI(OR) QMF,CICS(SCREEN LEVEL),FILE-AID

Education & Qualification

Bachelors or Masters with 8 years of experience
