Test Manager

Job Type – Full Time

Base Location – Schaumburg, IL

Roles & Responsibilities

Integrate the Testing Plans and Schedule of the Workstream Leads into a Program view
Manage the QA services including UAT by Business Analysts and reporting back to project manager with the project status
Define the test strategy -Manage the QA process during test execution in line with release plans
Coordinate with various vendors, development teams and BAs -Review QA strategy of Workstream Leads
Identify gaps in testing and suggest solutions
Status reporting
Suggesting and implementing best practices

Essential Skills & Experience

Having good exposure to SDLC and STLC
Should be able to design and draft Test Strategy,Project plan and Test Plan
Exposure to Agile testing methodology, and handling multiple teams/vendors
Should have experience working with offshore teams
Understanding of Property and Casualty insurance preferable
Knowledge on Java, .Net, SQL Server, DB2, UNIX and SOA architecture (Web services)
Accountable for the quality of the deliverables
Should have strong communication, presentation and customer interfacing skill

Education & Qualification

Bachelors with over 5 years of experience in QA and Project management
