Test Engineer

Job Type – Contract

Base Location – Walnut Creek, CA

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analysis of the requirements. 
  • Test case authoring, execution & management.
  • Defect Identification, Reporting & Closure of the defects.
  • Peer Review of Test Cases.
  • Review of test cases with business teams and coordinate in the sign-off process. 
  • Prepare and maintain the traceability matrix mapping the requirements to test cases.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Retail domain experience and testing of Point of Sale (POS) applications.
  • Must have the knowledge of using test cases management tools (such as Quality Center) and defect tracking tools.

Desirable Skills & Experience

4+ years of testing experience.

Education & Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
