The credit card industry collaborated together to develop the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS), to ensure that customers’ credit card information is adequately protected. All businesses, regardless of size, need to understand the scope of PCI DSS and how to implement network security processes which are compliant with PCI guidelines.

The goal of the PCI Scan is to evaluate organizations’ compliance to PCI DSS requirements and to suggest

effective implementation of network security controls. Through the PCI Scan, AppLabs reviews the entire network covering external infrastructure*.

Being PCI compliant reduces risk of fines from the credit card companies in the case of a security breach and ensures that the network infrastructure and the business processes are secure.
