Onsite Project Manager

Job Type – Full Time

Base Location – Simi Valley, CA

Roles & Responsibilities

A Project Leader is a senior position in a delivery team to a client, in terms of operational responsibility and ownership of making sure the project is being delivered on time and with quality parameters. He/ she is also the anchorperson to ensure the team members are motivated, enthusiastic and challenged enough to work on the deliverables.

Essential Skills & Experience

Testing:

  • Has in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of testing methods, concepts and processes, and practices these independently.
  • Able to perform a reliable effort analysis and to prioritize tests.
  • Has knowledge to create high level planning and to determine a test strategy.
  • Effectively promotes testing techniques and tools in own team Able to carry usability tests and decide which technique to be used.

Test Automation:

  • Has through knowledge of tools for test automation.
  • Able to develop complex automated test scripts from a detailed level.
  • Has knowledge to organize test management automation.
  • Can develop supportive functions and features.

Project Management:

  • Knows and effectively applies project management tools and techniques within the framework of organizational policies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Monitors and escalates resource utilization issues in his project jurisdiction.
  • Earned Value management, Risk management concepts should be understood thoroughly.
  • Monitors project health indicators very closely.
  • Responsible for internal as well as external project reporting.
  • Accountable for the quality of the deliverables.

Client Management :

  • Applies customer focus skills like setting clear expectations, managing towards those successfully, providing valuable response to customer needs etc.
  • Translate customer feedback (CSI) into improved processes and personal attitude.

People Management skills:

  • He/She is responsible for individual development plans of each team member.
  • Should conduct team building activities. 
  • Responsible for fair and unbiased appraisals for his team members.
  • Also responsible for conducting skill gap analysis and taking appropriate actions to fill the gap.

 

Desirable Skills & Experience

Minimun Experience of 6-8 Years

Education & Qualification

Graduation - BE, B. Tech, MCA, Post Graduation
